Challenge
A major power producer ran hundreds of CCTV cameras across mines, warehouses, and storage yards. Control-room operators had far too many feeds to watch and couldn’t reliably spot high-risk or tell-tale events, leading to theft and loss of resources.
Approach
VertexPlus built a centrally-hosted video analytics platform that processes high volumes of live and archived footage, detecting intrusions, counting and differentiating vehicles, and generating customized, time-based alerts using pre-trained and custom-trained models.
